Anytime, anyplace, anywhere + anyhow

anytime, anyplace, anywhere,

there’s a wonderful world you can share …

The above slogan is from the 1970’s Martini advertising campaign.

Back then it represented a lifestyle most could only aspire towards.

After watching this weeks CES keynotes it came to mind.

Bill Gates spoke about Microsofts offerings for the coming year.

… this all has to work across these devices, whether it’s calling people, seeing their presence, knowing what they’re interested in, making it easy for them to navigate; it’s got to be user centric, and that’s a big theme that’s going to make these things a lot simpler.

Terry Semel shared how Yahoo is extending its products and services across devices.

We think the Internet isn’t a Web page anymore … it’s a vehicle for delivering … it’s about connecting the devices that all of you are manufacturing.

Larry Page outlined Google’s next steps in realising its mission …

to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Thanks to the creators of the Internet the Martini lifestyle is becoming a reality.

True personalisation is within reach with the addition of the keyword anyhow.

All of the above is recommended viewing and listening.
